Are Mini Melts^® Ice Cream Kosher?

Yes, Mini Melts^® Ice Cream products are Kosher. The dairy based products are Star-D and the sorbet products are Star-K.

Are Mini Melts^® Ice Cream just like Dippin Dots?

Mini Melts^® Ice Cream is simply better. Enough said! Although we are categorized in the same beaded ice cream family, Mini Melts^® Ice Cream is much creamier, richer, and tastier.

How do we ship the ice cream?

We have specially designed shipping containers and we use dry ice and carbon dioxide snow to move Mini Melts^® anywhere in the USA by common carriers. We use Cryo Power containers to ship large volumes, up to 10,000 gallons, then we have a fleet of Pallet Reefers® which allow us to ship to larger venues. Break down boxes are used to deliver smaller quantities. We ship by freight carriers such as Roadway trucking but if you need it fast we can via FedEx or another overnight carrier. We have distribution centers across the US to facilitate delivery to our customers.

Is Mini Melts Ice Cream manufactured in a peanut-free facility?

Mini Melts Ice Cream is a peanut-free facility. We do not manufacture any product with peanuts. One important note – our Cookie Dough, Brownie Blast, and Cake Pop inclusions are manufactured by a vendor whose facility does handle peanut/tree nut items. While there is no peanut in these inclusions, we want to point that out.

We don’t have dedicated equipment, but we do a complete wash-down and sanitization of all equipment and utensils when switching from flavor to flavor to eliminate the chance of cross-contamination.
